Empowering Overseas Workers: FUSO Philippines’ Momentous Turnover of FJ Units to OWWA Signals a New Era in OFW Welfare Support

In a noteworthy demonstration of commitment to the welfare of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) and Alpine Motors Corporation (AMC) – FUSO Carmona recently conducted a significant turnover ceremony. Three FUSO FJ units were handed over to the Overseas Workers Welfare Association (OWWA), signaling a new chapter in their joint efforts to support the needs of Filipino workers.

The FJ units, renowned for durability and performance, are equipped with features such as Wi-Fi communication, bathrooms, and kitchens, aiming to provide efficient and secure transportation during calamities. Admin. Arnell Ignacio of OWWA expressed gratitude, emphasizing the immediate response capabilities of the trucks in addressing the urgent needs of OFWs and their families during disasters. The ceremony symbolizes a collaborative spirit between FUSO Philippines and OWWA, reflecting a shared commitment to corporate social responsibility and the well-being of OFWs.

AMC President Francis Martin Gonzales thanked OWWA for their support, and SFP President & CEO Yosuke Nishi highlighted the vehicles’ contribution to positive impacts on OFWs’ lives.
