DRE Riding Academy: A Day of Intense Hands-On Ride Training

If you’re a motorcycle rider, then you know that there’s always room for improvement. No matter how experienced you are, there’s always something new to learn. That’s why the DRE Riding Academy’s 1-day intense hands-on ride training is a must for better and safer riding.

Ride in a Safe and Controlled Environment

The DRE is a Ducati-approved riding school that trains Ducati and non-Ducati owners. The training is held at the R33 Drift Track in San Simon, Pampanga, and it’s designed to help riders improve their skills in a safe and controlled environment.

The day started early, with registration at 7 am. After breakfast, a brief discussion about the DRE’s training program. Then, it was time to get started on the drills.

Ducati Training Program

DRE Academy Rookie – Ducati’s safety riding project leads young people to ride responsibly and safely.
DRE Academy Road – Learn riding techniques, test different Ducati models, and carry out exercises on various bikes.
DRE Academy Track Warm Up – The course teaches participants the fundamentals of riding, improves their skills, and helps them find the correct style and trajectories.
DRE Academy Race Track – Six courses for all levels, on renowned circuits, on Panigale bikes.
DRE Academy Adventure – Adventuring enthusiasts can learn on- and off-road riding secrets in this course.
DRE Academy International – Ducati’s courses and travel experiences are expanding globally, thanks to the collaboration of Ducati branches.

Next Level of Riding

The drills were divided into two sections: morning drills and afternoon drills. The morning drills focused on fundamental skills, such as braking, cornering, and shifting. The afternoon drills were more advanced, and they included exercises such as emergency braking and obstacle avoidance.

Instructors with International Certification

The instructors were very knowledgeable and experienced, and they did a great job of explaining the drills and providing feedback. The drills were challenging, but they were also a lot of fun. By the end of the day, the skills on riding improved significantly.
