CAVITEX C5 Link Project Progress and Construction Deal

Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), just shook hands with D.M. Consunji, Incorporated (DMCI) for the last stretch of the C5 Link Segment 3B. This is a six-lane, two-kilometer toll road that’ll link CAVITEX at Parañaque to C5 Road in Taguig. DMCI’s got the construction covered—roadworks, drainage, and all the essentials. They’re kicking off in the second half of 2024, and by 2025, we’ll be cruising along this new expressway.

The operational segments of the CAVITEX C5 Link currently consist of Segment 3A-1 (C5 Link Flyover from C5 Road to Merville) and Segment 3A-2 (C5 Link Flyover Extension), both of which are already in operation. Additionally, Segment 2 (R1 Interchange) is currently under construction and is expected to open to motorists next month. Additionally, Segment 2 (R1 Interchange) is underway and will open to motorists next month.
