Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation Announces New Traffic Scheme for CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B Construction

Parañaque City, — Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), concessionaire of the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway Project (MCTEP), will implement a new traffic scheme effective November 10, 2025, along Kaingin-C5 Road in Parañaque City and Moonwalk Access Road in Pasay City.
This traffic adjustment will allow the completion of the remaining 2-kilometer Segment 3B (Kaingin to RSG Subdivision) of the CAVITEX C5 Link, a 7.7-kilometer segment of CAVITEX designed to enhance connectivity between CAVITEX R-1 (Roxas Blvd–Zapote) and C5 Road in Taguig City, helping to ease traffic congestion in major southern Metro Manila corridors. Once completed, the project is expected to reduce travel time by up to 40 minutes and benefit over 50,000 motorists daily. Segment 3B construction is targeted for completion before the end of December 2025.
Traffic Scheme Details
• Kaingin-C5 Road (Parañaque City): One lane will remain passable for both Sucat-bound and Taguig-bound vehicles.
• Moonwalk Access Road (Pasay City): Two lanes will remain passable for both Sucat-bound and Taguig-bound vehicles.
• Vehicles bound for Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Cavite coming from the CAVITEX C5 Link: To be diverted to Merville Exit to Moonwalk Access Road.
Motorists are advised to:
• Plan trips accordingly and stay updated on the latest traffic advisories.
• Consider alternate routes to avoid congestion and possible delays.
• Ensure vehicles are in good condition to prevent stalling or breakdowns along the route. Traffic marshals and safety officers will be deployed on-site to assist motorists and ensure the smooth and safe flow of vehicles throughout the construction period.
