Bicycling For Responsible Movement

Trek has joined the Responsible Packaging Movement  addressing the issue of the plastic waste plaguing our oceans. It creates awareness and gives a message to the world to consume less plastic materials that still exist on packaging materials that contribute such concerns to our environment.

The removal of plastics on Trek Bikes packaging has seen a dramatic positive change in protecting our Earth without sacrificing the protection of the products. Trek and Bontrager packaging address the growing issue of plastic pollution. All Trek facilities will become zero-landfill. The bike boxes will eliminate all plastics, and consumer-facing packaging will be free of single-use plastic by 2024.

Every Bontrager product – jersey, shorts, jacket, and similar apparel is wrapped in a polyethylene bag to protect from dirt and dye migration due to humidity. These efforts of packaging are pioneered in helping both the environment and the product.

Now be confident that every turn of your pedal and every long ride on the mountain range is a clear effort for responsible biking.
