Riding a motorcycle to experience a thousand twists and curves of the Cordillera mountain roads is not an ordinary ride for everyone. It is a challenge of skills and endurance in the most enjoyable ride while learning the culture and heritage of the place. It is also a chance for every rider to know more about their precious steel horses and how well they go along on the high and lows of the mountain roads. And most especially an opportunity to bond with friends while traversing the ranges of the north. 

Cordillera has been known as the most mountainous region of the north side of the Philippines stretching from the Ilocos Region to the west and southwest, and by the Cagayan Valley Region to the north, east, and southeast. It was previously less traveled for motorists due do increment and sudden changes of weather, not to mention the rough roads that were hard to access. Mostly the season is wet and cold but during the dry season (summer), it could be so hot during the day but very cold at night making it the least densely-populated region in the country.

BRINGING ADVENTURE AND TOURISM TO EVERYONE

Adventure seekers such as riders and mountaineers, often visit the place to rekindle with nature and meet folks to experience different cultures. Riders are one of the travelers who have been eagerly discovering interesting places and sharing them with friends and family. At the same time, they have been doing activities in collaboration with institutions. Groups like the ATPI, Adventure Team Philippines Inc., have been passionately promoting motoring and tourism – MOTOURISM.

The CORDILLERA CHALLENGE, spearheaded by Sir Francis Rivera, promotes the Philippines in support of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Petron. They now have 4 levels to complete, and every level has different starting points and places to visit. Rev-Up Moto and Lifestyle On Wheels supported by Loctite Philippines and FoamTech dared to take the first challenge.
